Troops stay linked through Web, mail

While the deployment of the 3,800 members of the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team constitutes the largest Army deployment out of Alaska since the Vietnam War, several servicemen and women around the state are already deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan and other areas around the world.
