Letter from Bill

I have to tell you, we had pretty much gotten ourselves in relief mode. We were thinking that even though Shawn was over there, we only had a couple of days and then he would be on his way to Kuwait and then Alaska after that.

On our way home from work my sister called and asked if we had been listening to the news and then proceeded to tell us what it had said...We held out hope that the news had gotten it wrong until we heard from Shawn via IM that evening....Yep it was true.

The initial upset and disgust went away and now all we're wanting is the same as we've wanted for the past year. That Shawn and his unit can come home safely. That's our prayer and I ask that everyone who reads this will join in it with us.

God please bring Shawn and his unit through this safely and please protect them and place a hedge of protection around them while they're there.
